Lower Merion School District Blog

On January 12, 2009 the school board voted and approved a plan for redistricting. In the current plan the south side of Narberth will attend Merion, Bala Cynwyd Middle and Lower Merion High School while part of the north side will attend Belmont Hills, Welsh Valley Middle School and Harriton High School, and another section of the north side will attend Belmont Hills, Welsh Valley, and have a choice for Lower Merion or Harriton High School. The Narberth Civic Association recently hosted an information session on January 21, 2009 to review the redistricting process to better understand the outcome, to examine its impact on Narberth, and to explore what we can all do to move forward in a productive way.
